Gökotta is a Swedish word, which roughly translates as “The act of rising at dawn to hear the birds sing and appreciate nature”. The belief is that Gökotta provides a boost for mental and physical wellbeing and leads to a peaceful and productive day.
Sounds good, right?
We’re not sure our session will be early enough for the dawn chorus, but it will be a time to pause in nature at start of the day. It will incorporate elements of Forest Church, a growing movement of people seeking God in the wild.
